The lack of manpower in Serbia begins with the fact that most people, after obtaining qualifications, go to some of the Western Europe countries and look for jobs in foreign countries. The majority of workers who go to one of the foreign countries are not satisfied with the working conditions and salaries offered to them in Serbia. Another reason for the loss of labor force is that fewer and fewer people apply for ads for certain jobs, and candidates who do apply and get a job, generally do not stay for a long period of time in the same company, which represents a significant loss for a company.

The labor shortage is not characteristic of only one area, it occurs in most areas, but is most noticeable in agriculture, construction and HoReCa. The sectors that today still require a significant impact of human labor are the most affected by the labor shortage and they have a more severe shortage. Jobs in agriculture, construction and HoReCa require certain qualifications and skills, and today there are fewer and fewer people on the labor market who have the necessary qualifications to perform these jobs.

Due to all the problems employers face today when it comes to finding a workforce, they are forced to look for some alternative solutions. Many employers today turn to temporary employment agencies, such as Resursi, to help them find workforce. The solution that we offer to them, and that employers accept, is to bring and employ workers from Asia. Today, many employers are turning to this solution, which has proven to be good and effective so far.
