The problem of employee turnover can be seen in all business sectors, and that is why all companies are starting to intensively build employee loyalty. Problems arise when the employee begins to lose interest and motivation, which then significantly affects his productivity and behavior at work. For young people, the lack of loyalty towards the company is more characteristic, which further leads to frequent job changes, and therefore it is necessary to pay special attention to the possibility of creating loyalty among young people.

Employee loyalty is influenced by many factors, such as the work environment, salary, benefits, as well as the opportunity for advancement and professional development. Since the success of the company mostly depends on the employees and their loyalty, it is necessary to look at all methods to awaken that feeling of loyalty among the employees. We have singled out several methods that can encourage a sense of loyalty among employees:

  • Permanent motivation – encouraging employees to take the initiative, creating a healthy working environment, giving rewards based on the achieved results , can influence employees in many ways.
  • Salary – the employee’s salary does not necessarily have to be the highest in a certain sector, but it must be congruent, and in those cases, bonuses, vacation vouchers or some other benefits can create a sense of satisfaction for the employee and be a good motivation.
  • Giving public recognition to an employee for a job well done.
  • The possibility of development, improvement and advancement within the company, so that the employee has constant motivation to pursue new goals, without having to leave the company where he is currently employed.

Some general conclusion is that, in order to reduce employee turnover, companies must look at the whole team and continuously work to detect and prevent problems, but also to choose people who want to work and make progress within the company, even if that means employment of workers from other countries.
